My Mother and Father

I pay my tribute to my mother and father today, especially when its their marriage anniversary. This time the occassion is subdued by recent demise of baby Shreya, their first granddaughter who died last friday night at the age of 32 days.

Also I remember that exactly one year ago my paternal grand dad was struggling for his life in the hospital, in comatose state and we celebrated the mom-dad's marriage anniversary unaware that the very next day grand dad will achieve his death wish.

We are only consoled by the thoughts, "what is ordained will happen how much you try to stop it, what is not ordained will not happen no matter howmuch you make effort", and also "what are you grieving at? what you think has died, is beyond birth and death and was always there and will always be there".
